First Impressions

Dancing Dragontail is the Gin Kitchen's summer gin — launched at Fortnum & Mason to huge acclaim. Elderflower, hibiscus, rose petal and orange blossom are distilled in their 170-year-old wooden barn on Punchbowl Lane, Dorking. The floral counterpart to the spicy Gutsy Monkey.

Tasting

The nose is floral elderflower and hibiscus with rose and orange blossom. On the palate, light and elegant with elderflower, cucumber freshness and lemon verbena citrus. The finish is delicate and refreshing.

The Bottom Line

Dancing Dragontail earns a 7 for Surrey Hills summer elegance launched by Fortnum's. The floral botanical bill creates something delicate and refined — the perfect companion to the bold Gutsy Monkey. Serve with cucumber and a edible flower garnish.
