Tasting Notes

Spruce-like juniper with pink grapefruit and chamomile — juniper-led with lime zest and red grapefruit above clean liquorice and angelica

Palate

Wonderfully rounded and incredibly silky — juniper integrated with fresh lemon, orange, and zesty pink grapefruit, white pepper and coriander spice adding depth

Finish

Long with moderate warmth — juniper fading leaving citrus zest with earthy undertones

First Impressions

Tanqueray No. Ten is the premium expression of the world's most famous gin brand — adding chamomile and fresh hand-chopped citrus to the classic four-botanical base. The 'citrus heart' is distilled separately by macerating fresh Florida oranges, Mexican limes, and grapefruits, creating the most refined Tanqueray expression. At 47.3% ABV, it has the strength for a magnificent Martini.

The Bottom Line

Tanqueray No. Ten earns an 8.5 as one of the finest premium London Dry gins in production. The fresh citrus heart, chamomile, and the silky 47.3% body create a gin of genuine sophistication. At around £30, outstanding value for a gin of this calibre. The Martini gin's Martini gin.
