Tasting Notes

Nose

Ripe mango and tropical sweetness, with the grape-derived creaminess adding a luxurious, almost dessert-like quality.

Palate

Smooth and tropical, with creamy Carabao mango flavour and the characteristic Ciroc silkiness. Sweet but not cloying, with good balance.

Finish

Medium length, smooth and tropical with a clean, fruity fade.

Ciroc continue to expand their flavoured range with expressions that lean into tropical indulgence, and the Mango edition is among the most unabashedly hedonistic. Made from Ugni Blanc grape spirit infused with Carabao mango — a particularly sweet and creamy variety — this is vodka as tropical escape.

The nose is immediately inviting — ripe mango and tropical sweetness, with the grape-derived creaminess adding a luxurious, almost dessert-like quality. This is not subtle, nor does it try to be. On the palate, the mango is smooth and creamy, with a sweetness that the grape base rounds and enriches rather than sharpening.

At 37.5% ABV, this is designed squarely for mixing, and Ciroc suggest serving it over ice with a tropical fruit juice of your choice. It is a recommendation that works well — the mango flavour holds up against a mixer without becoming lost, and the overall effect is refreshing and thoroughly enjoyable.

This is not a spirit for purists or for contemplative sipping, but within its category it is polished and effective. The quintuple distillation ensures cleanliness, and the grape base provides a smoothness that grain-based mango vodkas cannot replicate. A competent and enjoyable flavoured vodka.
