Tasting Notes

Nose

Vegetal celery and parsley early — later citrus, lemon, banana and fennel, complex and disarming, pine and spruce

Palate

Smooth and bright beneath the strength — juniper, lemon, grapefruit, resiny spruce and pine, surprisingly easy sipping for 59.8% with soft sweet rosehip

Finish

Bright, crisp and quite smooth — linalool hints with the 200-year-old juniper's unique character

Expert Review

8/10

Single-specimen juniper from a 200-year-old bush in the Cairngorms with Scottish rosehip — distillers strength at 59.8%. Surprisingly easy sipping, softer and sweeter than expected. Radical provenance.
