Palate

Smooth and full-bodied — layers of complexity where traditional gin botanicals meet the Cape Floral Kingdom, honey and herbs, gentle spice, earthy undertones that evolve beautifully, the coastal fynbos adding a quality that defies easy description

Founded in 2012 by Lorna Scott and her children Rohan and Lauren in Stilbaai, Western Cape — the first gin distilled with fynbos, the unique vegetation of the Cape Floral Kingdom that grows nowhere else on Earth. Amber uses 20-30 coastal fynbos varieties vapour-infused during distillation, then further infused post-distillation for its golden colour. 70% of staff are women from the local community.
