Tasting Notes

Nose

Grapefruit peel, thick-cut marmalade, generous earthy juniper — spicy cardamom kick with cucumber freshness

Palate

Clean, bright and surprisingly soft at 45.2% — well-rounded juniper, citrus and spice in pleasing balance, juniper becoming sweeter and more generous

Finish

Classic yet veering contemporary — peppery nutmeg and coriander with clean cucumber freshness from the post-distillation addition

Expert Review

Two separate botanical distillations plus cucumber, brought to proof with Icelandic water. 97 points and Spirit of the Year 2003. Grapefruit marmalade, earthy juniper and cardamom spice.
