Tasting Notes

Nose

Fresh malt loaf, pear skin, chamomile and a soft spill of vanilla from French oak.

Palate

Delicate and bright — poached pear, lemon curd, cereal sweetness and a gentle nuttiness, with oak tannins kept on a leash.

Finish

Clean and softly drying, with white pepper, toasted almond and a final hint of honey.

Expert Review

8.2/10

A pure malted-barley expression from Southwold, aged in French oak — light, floral and quietly continental.
